AGE LIMIT

ENGLISH LANGUAGE /

COMPETENCE

Master

·         For newcomer Master 4 contracts on Reefer Vessels as Master.

·         5 contracts service on reefer vessel irrespectively of the position

·         Re-employment to Master’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         For newcomer Master no more than 60 years old.

·         For the existing Master no age limit —   based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test Level: > 70% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 60%

Chief Officer

·         For newcomer Chief Officer 2 contracts as Chief Officer on reefer vessels

·         Re-employment as Chief Officer or promotion to Master’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         24 months sea service as C/O onboard of reefer vessels prior promotion to Master position

·         For newcomer Chief Officer no more than 55 years old.

·         For the existing Chief officer, no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test Level: > 70% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 60%

2nd Officer

3rd Officer

·         For newcomer 2nd Officer/3rd Officer’s    2 contracts on the same rank on reefer vessels

·         Re-employment as 2nd Officer/3rd Officer’s or promotion to Chief Officer/2nd Officer’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         12 months sea service on the same rank of reefer vessel prior promotion.

·         For newcomer 2nd Officer no more than 40 years old.

·         For newcomer 3rd Officer no more than 30 years old

·         For the existing 2nd Officer/3rd Officer no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test level: > 60% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 60%

Chief Engineer

·         For newcomer Chief engineer 4 contracts on the same rank, including 2 contracts on reefer vessels

·         5 contracts service on reefer vessels irrespectively of the position

·         Re-employment to Chief Engineer’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         For newcomer Chief Engineer no more than 60 years old.

·         For the existing Chief Engineer, no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test Level: > 60% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 50%

2nd Engineer

·         For newcomer 2nd Engineer 2 contracts as 2nd Engineer on reefer vessels.

·         Re-employment as 2nd Engineer or promotion to Chief Engineer’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         24 months sea service as 2nd Engineer onboard of bulk carrier prior promotion to Chief Engineer’s position.

·         For newcomer 2nd Engineer no more than 55 years old.

·         For the existing 2nd Engineer, no age limit -based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test Level: > 50% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 50%

3rd Engineer

4th Engineer

·         For newcomer 3rd Engineer/4th Engineer’s 2 contracts on the same rank on bulk carriers

·         Re-employment as 3rd Engineer/4th Engineer’s or promotion to 2nd Engineer/3rd Engineer’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         12 months sea service on the same rank of bulk carrier prior promotion.

·         For newcomer 3rd Engineer/4th engineer no more than 50 years old.

·         For the existing 3rd Engineer/4th engineer no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test level: > 60% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 60%

Electro Technical Officer

·         For newcomer Electric Engineer 4 contracts on the same rank.

·         Re-employment as Electric Engineer with Good appraisal/evaluation

·         For newcomer Eel. Engineer no more than 55 years old.

·         For the existing Eel. Engineer no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test Level: > 45% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 50%

Reefer Engineer

·         For newcomer Reefer Engineer 4 contracts on the same rank Re-employment to Ref. Engineer’s rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         For newcomer Ref. Engineer no more than 55 years old.

·         For the existing Ref. Engineer, no age limit -based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test level: > 45% Confirmed from the manning office.

·         CES: > 45%

Bosun

·         For newcomer Bosun 4 contracts on the same rank on reefer vessels.

·         Re-employment as Bosun with Good appraisal/evaluation

·         For newcomer Bosun no more than 55 years old.

·         For the existing Bosun no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Understand/Communicate Confirmed from the manning office

CES: > 40%

Able seafarer Deck

·         For newcomer 2 contracts on the same rank.

·         Re-employment to Able Seafarer’s Deck with Good appraisal/evaluation

·         Promotion to higher rank with good appraisal/evaluation grade and Master’s recommendation.

·         For newcomer Able Seafarer Deck, no more than 45 years old.

·         For the existing Able Seafarer Deck no age limit -based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

Catering Boy

·         For newcomer no previous experience is required

·         Re-employment to Catering’s Boy rank with good appraisal/evaluation

·         Promotion to higher rank with good appraisal grade and Master’s and recommendation.

·         For newcomer Catering Boy no upper than 30 years old.

·         For the existing Catering Boy, no age limit — based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Understand/Communicate Confirmed from the manning office

CES: > 40%

Cadets

·         For newcomer no experience is required.

·         Re-employment to Cadets with Good appraisal/evaluation

·         Promotion to higher rank with good appraisal/evaluation grade and Master’s recommendation.

·         For newcomer Cadets no more than 30 years old.

·         For the existing Cadets no age limit -based on his health condition (medical certificate) and duty performance

·         Limit of age is 18 years

·         Marlins Test level: > 60% Confirmed from the manning office.
